Map of the Line
Currently we operate trains over 2 miles of track from Blaenavon High Level up to Whistle Halt as well as the branch from Furnace Sidings to Big Pit Halt. The center of our operation is at Furnace Sidings which is where our Car Park, Tea Room and Shop are located. Furnace Sidings is also the location for the storage, restoration and maintenance of our Locomotives and Rolling stock.
At many points on the line you will see evidence of the improvements that are being made to the railway. This is very noticeable at Furnace Sidings and Blaenavon High Level, where new station buildings are being constructed

Whistle Inn (MP 2m75c): Currently the highest point on the line (1307 feet above sea level) and the current northerly terminus. The original LNWR halt was located on the other side of the road bridge
Furnace Sidings (MP 3m3/4: Currently this is the main station of the railway. The short branch to Big Pit runs from here. This is the centre of our operations and the home to all our loco's and rolling stock.

Big Pit Halt: This is the newest of our four stations and only opened on the 16th September 2011. The halt provides access to the Big Pit Mining Museum.
Blaenavon (High Level) (MP 4m3/4): This is currently the southern terminus of the railway and the lowest point. The station building is currently in the process of being built. Blaenavon town is a 15 minute walk away.
